My ceramics
Every piece is handmade and decorated by me in my studio in Spain.
All of my ceramics are wheel-thrown and fired at high temperature. I work with locally sourced Spanish stoneware, chosen for its durability, beautiful character, and suitability for everyday use.
My collections usually begin with an impression, a place, a season, or something beautiful that captures my attention. They are my way of reflecting on the beauty I notice in the world and translating those observations into functional objects for everyday life.
I love working with different clay bodies, so you'll find a variety of stoneware colours throughout my collections. Sometimes a single collection combines several clay colours, allowing the same designs to reveal different personalities depending on the clay beneath them.
Because each piece is thrown individually on the wheel, no two are ever exactly alike. Slight variations in shape, texture, and decoration are a natural part of the making process – and one of the things I love most about handmade ceramics. Every cup has its own character.
I work in very small batches. There are always more ideas I'd love to make than I have time for, so each design is produced only in limited quantities before I move on to something new.
If there's a piece you'd particularly like, feel free to let me know before your visit. If I'm able to, I'll happily make sure it's waiting for you.
You're always very welcome to visit the studio, take your time, and choose in person. Handmade ceramics are best experienced up close – held in your hands, explored from every angle, until you find the piece that feels just right.
Most of my work is functional tableware made to be used and enjoyed every day. I use high-quality materials and food-safe glazes, and all pieces are dishwasher safe.
